Whether it's his knee from the plane, or now his back, he's definitely getting a little worn out. Considering he had retired before this season, I'd imagine he is getting a bit frustrated with the current wear and tear he's taking.
My theory, that I've had a few tweets about that went unnoticed, is Berkman has made it known to the front office he's cooked and JD decided we need another DH similar to Fat Elvis.
That's where Manny shows up.
Berkman was placed on DL today.
I believe after the all star break it will be Manny time, and yesterday was the last day we will have seen Berkman.
Said this last week, but, oh well...
