Unfortunately, Nelly Cruz is wrapped up in the Biogenesis PED scandal. Recent news from Bud Selig points to the Rangers potentially losing the boomstick sometime after the All Star break.
"Commissioner Bud Selig's office is expected to suspend Braun and Rodriguez, along with as many as 20 players sometime after next week's All-Star break, several sources told "Outside the Lines." As OTL reported, MLB started building cases against the players last month after Bosch agreed to cooperate with investigators."

In a lineup that is already struggling to manufacture runs, this would be a hit for sure.
Nelson Cruz (.275/.334/.528) has 22 HR with 67 RBIs. He has been one of the only players who has been heating up in the lineup.
With the trade deadline of July 31st quickly approaching, let's hope JD has something crazy up his sleeve. We're going to need a bat with some pep, and a solution to our starting pitcher rotation if the 2nd half of the season is going to have any promise.
